I'm pissed off. I lost a whole bunch of Weekly due to
a crappy internet connection and a reboot. Excuse me
if I'm curt. This will be a "light" issue.

Campus Comments...
-----------------------------------------------------
College football is off and running and that means the
original internet newsletter "Campus Comments" is back
for another season. The Comments, which was the
inspiration for The Weekly, is written by Chas "Corso"
Claus. There is no team affiliation but a majority of
the readers who contribute are heavy on Michigan
schools and ND. There is a lot of love for the MAC in
the Comments as well. It's a great weekly read and if
you enjoy college football then you'll certainly enjoy
Campus Comments. E-mail Chas at chas79@hotmail.com to
get yourself on the list!

Poll Question...
-----------------------------------------------------
Barry Bonds is back in action for the first time this
season. Do you think that Barry will be as dominant
as he was before this extended stint on the DL?

Hey.
On a personal note to start, I as an Oakland fan do
not appreciate the Tigers. Nor do I appreciate any
team that stays in the way of my vicarious postseason
dreams.
As for the Tigers improvement plan, here's my advice:
It appears that in order for the Tigers to
significantly improve, they need to make one major
change...Movement from the AL Central to the NL West.
Otherwise, you Kitties fans are going to be waiting a
long time.

Toolie's Trashtalk...
The Tigers continue to disappoint. With football in
full swing and the Tigers way out of the race it will
be easy for the squad to stay under the radar. They
are out west for a week and then come home to face the
Mariners and White Sox. After taking on the Angels
they will have played their last game that has playoff
implications (unless the Indians put more heat on the
White Sox).
Here's a picture of Chris Shelton looking dejected in
the dugout on Tuesday night. It reminds me of Mike
Tyson's Punch-Out where Little Mac is retiring (i.e.
your game is over) because he has had the crap kicked
out of his so many times. I thought it was
appropriate and telling.
I promise a better issue next week. The computer
error was a real let-down. Until then...
I'm out.
